The Africa Centre for the Study of the United States (ACSUS) at the University of Nairobi, in collaboration with the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, facilitates a research partnership between students and faculty from both institutions. This academic exchange program offers students a unique opportunity to engage in comparative research, policy discussions, and professional development in international affairs.
From 2022 students from the University of Denver travel to Nairobi, Kenya, where they work alongside local academics, professionals, and policymakers to conduct research and gain an in-depth understanding of the local socio-political and economic landscape. Through fieldwork, discussions, and immersive experiences, participants explore key topics such as diplomacy, governance, international relations, and development.
