The U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, in collaboration with the Africa Center for the Study of the U.S. (ACSUS) at the University of Nairobi, hosted a round table discussion on The U.S. Presidential Election 2024: Process, Issues, and Implications. The event served as a platform for a meaningful exchange of knowledge and insights on the U.S. elections and electoral process.

The discussion explored U.S. key issues influencing the 2024 election, including the foreign policy elements of America’s election debate, and our expectation of the USG’s continued focus on Kenya and Africa.

The Amplifying African Voices for Strategic Action (AFSA) Conference was a landmark event held at Strathmore University, Nairobi, bringing together policymakers, academics, media practitioners, civil society activists, think tanks, and business leaders. Organized by the African Centre for the Study of the United States (ACSUS) at Wits University, in partnership with Strathmore University, Kenya, the International Relations Society of Kenya (IRSK) and the Africa Centre for the Study of the United States at University of Nairobi.

On June 12, 2024, the United States Embassy, in partnership with the African Centre for the Study of the United States (ACSUS), conducted a Fulbright Program Information Session at the University of Nairobi. This significant event sought to familiarize students, scholars, and professionals with the esteemed Fulbright Program, a U.S. cultural exchange initiative aimed at promoting global understanding through academic and professional exchange.
