To mark six decades of diplomatic relations between the United States and Kenya, the Africa Center for the Study of the U.S. (ACSUS) convened a high-level panel discussion on “U.S.-Kenya Partnership in Digital Transformation” at the Kenya School of Government. The event reflected on the historical journey and current momentum of the bilateral partnership in digitization, while also mapping out strategic pathways for future collaboration in digital innovation and governance.

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025 under the global theme “Accelerated Action,” the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation at the University of Nairobi, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) – Regional Office, Kenya and Somalia missions – convened a high-level panel discussion titled “Climate Change and Migration – A Gendered Perspective.”

The Africa Center for the Study of the United States (ACSUS) at the University of Nairobi proudly hosted a thought-provoking session of its Speaker Series titled “Information Warfare and Geopolitics.” This timely and highly engaging event featured Mr. Thomas Kent, a distinguished expert in disinformation, media ethics, and Russian affairs, currently a Senior Fellow for Strategic Communications at the American Foreign Policy Council and a faculty member at Columbia University.
